Chairman of Bhasha Andolan, Orissa Subhas Chandra Pattanayak has, in a memorandum on June 7, moved the Odia Bhasha Pratisthan to initiate penal action against linguist Dr. Debi Prasanna Pattanayak, who, according to him, is guilty of illegal transfer of the Classical Odia document prepared by the said official body to a former MP Rama Chandra Khuntia that has ultimately marred the history of classical status given to the splendid language.
